Celebrate one of MG’s most ambitious racing machines with this finely detailed 1/32 scale replica of the legendary MGC GTS Sebring car, produced by George Turner Models. Faithfully capturing the purposeful stance and distinctive lines of the Works prototype, this model represents car No.44 (MBL 546E), a machine that marked a high point in MG’s late-1960s competition story.

The real MGC GTS was developed by the British Motor Corporation’s Abingdon Competitions Department as a lightweight, aluminium-bodied evolution of the road-going MGC. With only two factory-built examples ever completed, the GTS featured aerodynamic “bubble” arches, reduced weight, and a tuned 3.0-litre straight-six producing around 200bhp—capable of pushing the car to approximately 150mph.

At the gruelling 12 Hours of Sebring, this very car was driven by rally legend Paddy Hopkirk and co-driver Andrew Hedges. Against fierce international competition, the MGC GTS delivered an outstanding performance—finishing 10th overall and achieving a class podium, the best result MG ever recorded at Sebring.
