The real Maserati 300S was developed between 1955 and 1958 for the World Sportscar Championship, blending advanced engineering with breathtaking coachwork by Fantuzzi. Powered by a 3.0-litre straight-six derived from Maserati’s Grand Prix technology, it produced around 245–260 horsepower and delivered exceptional performance for its time, with a lightweight chassis of roughly 780–900 kg and a top speed approaching 180 mph.  The 300S proved its pedigree with major victories such as Nürburgring 1956 and fierce competition against Ferrari, Jaguar, and Mercedes-Benz rivals.
