Designed by the legendary Harry Miller and driven by Barney Oldfield, the original Golden Submarine was unlike anything seen on the racing circuits of its day. At a time when most racing cars were open and exposed, it featured a fully enclosed, streamlined aluminium body that protected the driver while dramatically improving aerodynamics.
